Obama Nazis, Ear Necklaces, and the MSM’s New Censorship Word List for Conservatives

This week, two weeks after the AZ massacre and one week after President Obama’s call for “civility,” the MSM has proved once again that it is fair, unprejudiced, professional, and full to the brim with the best of intentions.



As a conservative, I honor the admirable achievements of the professional journalists at MSNBC, the New York Times, and the Washington Post. My head hangs in humbled deference at the hate-filled remarks of Obama pals, U.S. Senator Dick Durbin and Rep. Steven Cohen. Behold their collective greatness in attempting to cover-up their gaffes, lies, and hypocrisies again this week: MSM made small mention of liberal activist James Eric Fuller, who was shot in the knee at the AZ shooting and his death threat against Tucson Tea Party leader Trent Humphries. Fuller told the Post Friday:

There would be torture and then an ear necklace, with [Minnesota US Rep.] Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin’s ears toward the end, because they’re small, female ears, and then Limbaugh, Hannity and the biggest ears of all, Cheney’s, in the center.

An “ear necklace” is a reference to necklaces made from the cut-off ears of enemies in the Vietnam War era and, thus, fails Obama’s civility test.

Unlike Sarah Palin and the Tea Party Movement, the MSM did not attempt to link the incendiary statements of U.S. Senator Dick Durbin or even President Obama to Fuller’s violent actions. Durbin has called Tea Partiers “extremists” and President Obama has called on supporters to “punish our enemies.” To date, no other Fuller linkages have been made to journalists who have called Tea Partiers “terrorists,” “thugs,” “brown shirts,” and “dangerous.”

Rep. Steven Cohen on Obamacare opponents:

They [Republicans] say it’s a government takeover of health care — a big lie just like Goebbels. You say it enough, you repeat the lie, you repeat the lie, and eventually, people believe it. Like blood libel. That’s the same kind of thing.

Cohen has also likened the Tea Party to hood and robe-wearing members of the KKK.

There are always the old standbys you can rely upon for responsible journalism. On Monday, MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann cited a Daily Kos/PPP poll that the Tea Party was seen as the most violent threat to elected officials. Then he turned around and misrepresented a CNN/Opinion Research Poll citing an erroneous figure that 33% of Americans blame Sarah Palin’s target map for the AZ shootings.  Olbermann announced his last “Countdown” Friday night and all that can be said is good riddance. Finally.

In response to President Obama’s “call for civility” at the Arizona victims’ memorial, New York Times’ Paul Krugman offered these words of wisdom in a column called “A Tale of Two Moralities:”

The truth is that we are a deeply divided nation and are likely to remain one for a long time. By all means, let’s listen to each other more carefully; but what we’ll discover, I fear, is how far apart we are.

Maybe Krugman should have been “listening” before he wrote his reckless column, “A Climate of Hate.” It was just a day after the shootings when this noted liberal scholar attempted to link Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, and Bill O’Reilly to the hallucinogen-inhaling Jared Loughner without the facts. I wouldn’t continue to hold your breath for the apology. Lies and hypocrisy – that must be the Krugman kind of liberal morality currently in vogue at the New York Times.

As their witch hunt of hate continues, the MSM has simultaneously been generating a list of outlawed words for conservatives. The question now is: what words are safe? Will the MSM redefine what free speech means? Will the Fairness Doctrine be applied? Are they advocating a politically corrected First Amendment? President Obama’s former White House Chief of Staff/resident hate speech expert Rahm Emanuel once said, “The First Amendment is highly overrated.” Is it?

Here are some words and phrases* currently censored or being considered for the MSM’s censorship list:

As for President Obama’s statement, “If they bring a knife, we bring a gun,” and anything Rahm Emanuel has ever said, these phrases would also be outlawed … if any conservative ever starts to use them.

If the First Amendment rights of conservatives are the next target, the MSM are certainly taking their best shot. Oh, that’s right, I wasn’t supposed to say that.
