Exposing Obama’s “I killed Osama” braggadocio with his own words

By Judi McLeod

Finally and mercifully: an election campaign antidote to the poisonous ego of Barack Hussein Obama: the truth for all to see in video from Veterans for a Strong America that makes the ‘Swiftboating’ of John Kerry in 2004 pale by comparison.

Someone is finally putting braggart “Obama Killed Osama” in his place: in the White House Situation Room dressed in his signature golf clothes the night it went down.

No matter how many self-strewn rose petals in Obama’s Conquering Hero Act of April 2011;  no matter how elaborate the secrecy of his recent trip to Afghanistan to deliver a safe televised address to Americans, Obama did not kill Osama, courageous U.S. Navy SEALS did.

No pop cult T-shirts for fawning youth, White House czars or Hollywood stars followed the “Obama Killed Osama” propaganda of April, 2011, which soon faded out like roses left on a gravesite.

It will go down as one of the greatest ironies of all time that while Obama and his astroturfers tried to reignite the fable of Obama Killed Osama, Veterans for a Strong America reignited it in the unvarnished truth—and will keep it going all throughout the presidential election campaign.

Obama is being taught that you can’t learn the big boomerang effect out on the golf links.

News of the ‘Swiftboating‘ of Obama has already gone international.

“The killing of Osama bin Laden, seen by President Barack Obama’s aides as his biggest advantage in his re-election campaign, is already being used against him in an ad reminiscent of the so-called ‘Swiftboating‘ of John Kerry in 2004.” (Daily Mail, May 3, 2012).

“A group called Veterans for a Strong America released the ad, entitled ‘Credit’, in response to an Obama campaign ad featuring President Bill Clinton that asked whether Mitt Romney would have taken the decision to take out the al Qaeda leader.

“The group is led by Joel Arends, a lawyer who served in Iraq and Afghanistan and who also worked for the Bush campaign in 2000 and the McCain campaign in 2008.

“After the campaign ad was put out, Obama travelled in elaborate secrecy to Afghanistan to deliver a televised address to Americans.  He was on the ground for just six hours under cover of darkness during a trip that left taxpayers with a bill of at least $467,000 in Air Force One flight costs alone.”

The creators of ‘Credit’, who had already been to Afghanistan, fighting on the ground for their country,  highlight the unsung actions of American servicemen—‘what real heroes do’—and juxtaposes it with Obama’s fondness for putting himself in the starring role when talking about the bin Laden operation.

Even the Washington Post,  who called Obama’s U-turn on spiking the football “shameless gall” and liberal media magnate Arianna Huffington, who described the Obama Bill Clinton narrated campaign ad as ‘one of the most despicable things you can do’, came down hard on an Obama tooting his own horn.

Obama braggadocio on killing Osama has expanded into the world of Islamic terrorism, which he claims now transpires without the help of a completely finished al Qaeda.

The best thing about the Veterans for a Strong America ad is that it uses only Obama’s own words against him.

Heroes don’t lounge about drinking coffee and ice water looking worried in the safety of a ‘Situation Room’.  They sweat it out in military uniforms protecting the nation that makes freedom for so many others a way of life.

Oorah! to Veterans for a Strong America.  While so many others tried and failed, it was the veterans who taught Barack Hussein Obama that the truth really hurts.
