CNN’s Jack Cafferty stunned Situation Room host Wolf Blitzer and viewers watching at home when, at the conclusion of one of his signature critiques of wasteful government spending yesterday, he called the House Speaker a ‘horrible woman.’ Cafferty was voicing his frustration about the trip to Copenhagen by a delegation of Congressional members that required numerous taxpayer-funded jets.
The incident is all the more surprising considering it’s the second time in the week that Cafferty has voiced his extreme displeasure at Pelosi (and her “crap”). Earlier, Cafferty blasted Congress and the administration for their decision to “shut the public” out of the health care negotiation process, despite campaign promises by the president to televise them on C-SPAN:
